Game Policy

Games will NOT be played in C4 at any time. Game related sites and forums will not be visited at any time. Videos will not be played on any computers at any time. Music is permitted if earphones are used. No music over the computer speakers.

Consequences for violating this policy. The violating student will have a choice of one of the following :

1. Serve five minutes outside of class. This can not be served before or after the class the violation occurred. It may be served before or after any other class. It can not be served during any class. A second violation would result in ten minutes. A third fifteen minutes and so on. It must be served within 48 hours.

2. Males - 5 Duck-Barks, Females - 5 frog-barks . Must be completed the last five minutes of class. Additional violations will increase by five.

3. Typing five statistic or programming problems. Must be done in my room during the students homeroom or study hall. Increases by five. It must be served within 48 hours. Some of these could be lengthy.

Example :

A student starts playing a game after logging in. This is a violation of the game policy and select doing five duck-barks. They do these as the end of the period. The next day they have completed all daily requirements but are playing a game not on the acceptable game list. They select the time consequence and serve ten minutes after school. The student starts playing a game on the list but has not completed an assignment that is due midnight the next day. They are intending on doing it at home. This is a violation of the game policy. The consequence they select will consist of fifteen minutes, fifteen duck-barks, or 15 typed programming or statistics problems.

Failure to successfully complete a selected consequence will result in a 30 minute detention. Failure to serve a 30 minute detention will result in a referral with a recommendation of a one hour detention.
