After setting up the project name and location you should be here. If not go through setting up the project name and location.
Click File on the menu bar and the following will appear. Click on New
The Files Tab will appear.
Click on C++ Source File - very important!!!
In the File name: box, enter the file name and click OK.
You are almost ready to start programming!!!!
I suggest you switch from ClassView (towards bottom left) to FileView.
Click on the FileView tab.
I also suggest expanding the project files. This and the step above is not required but you will end up doing this after you get a hang of things.
