Excused Absences
Work missed during an absence must be made up within the number of days absent plus 2. If not made up within the required time will result in the assignment being late. The late policy would apply.
The student is responsible to find out what was missed. Always check the web site and ask the instructor. Try to complete the assignment before returning. Failure to ask for assignments when absent and completing the assignment within the required time will not prevent the assignment from being counted late. The student has a limited amount of time to get the make up work in after returning from an absence.
If an assignment is assigned on a day a student is present and collected on a day the student has an excused absence, the assignment is due the first day the student returns. Failure to have the assignment will result in the assignment being counted late.
Unexcused Absences
Any work collected during an unexcused absent will result in zero credit and can not be made up.
